Conditions were great for the Muskoka Loppet on Sunday. The skies were cloudy at Arrowhead Park, but the temperature was a pleasant -3 C. The trails had been quite icy, but a recent snowfall saved the day. Tracks were hard in most places with packed powder snow on top. Getting good grip involved adding a little base binder along with many of layers of wax. The trails are mostly flat, gently undulating with a few climbs near the end of the loop.
