The Yuletide race at Highlands Nordic is the quintessential season opener for most racers in Southern Ontario. The Yuletide format is a one-day pursuit, a ~5km classic race in the morning followed by ~5km skate later in the day. Both Andrew and Stephanie Rees were in attendance. Stephanie was 3rd overall after the classic and held onto 3rd after the skate leg. Andrew was 4th overall after the classic but dropped to 5th just behind the hard charging Justin Faulkner.
